This baby's got back

Some readers of this blog have asked to see the alleged ridge along my back. Here are two pictures for posterity.

It's just a strip of fur along my spine that happens to go in the opposite direction. There's actually a bestselling novel, The Dogs of Babel, whose main character is a Rhodesian Ridgeback. The author said the ridge was "skin like velvet pushed the wrong way." That's how I like to think of it.
